Here at The Pine Hill we are committed to being as environmentally friendly as possible. We go the extra mile to ensure that we don’t damage the beautiful, natural environment that we are situated in.
We have a sophisticated irrigation system which ensures that plants all receive the exact required amount of water (a water saving plan).
All of our glasses, crockery and cutlery are washed using eco-lab brand glass and dishwashers which use specific eco-friendly detergents.
Our tap water is filtered through a resin based system which is bacteria free and hazard free (safe to drink although not recommended on a taste basis).
All of our ice is made using purified water using a reversed osmosis system and we offer natural spring water for drinking.
All of our lighting uses low energy bulbs or LED spots.
Our hot water is provided by electric backed-up solar panel systems.
Finally, we have a full biological waste water management system with a discharge certificate to show that it has been treated so that it is harmless to the environment when discharged.
