In 2015 we underwent a unique renovation and refinement with the aim of creating a superior class and quality holiday haven.  Instead of the usual focus on added rooms and increased customer numbers, we chose to focus on added space, facilities, comfort and luxury in all areas.  We took our inspiration from worldwide leading heritage hotels and we -have incorporated the finest ideas and materials from all over the world to ensure a blissful and serene environment for our highly valued guests to enjoy.  Whilst we are in the heart of a bustling town, we have created an idyllic, relaxing holiday haven to satisfy all of your needs.  We have increased our facilities to meet the demands of non-staying customers who also wish to enjoy visiting us and using the facilities we have to offer.  With the increased space and areas we can welcome all without the feeling of being overcrowded so that each person feels as valued as they<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

History of The PineHill<\/h3>\n

The Pine Hill Hotel you see around you now has come a very long way since its humble beginnings as The Holiday Pension bed & breakfast in Fethiye in 1984.  Back then, our main guests were back-packers who had travelled from all over the world.  At this time European cuisine was relatively unknown in Turkey.  However, this was the type of food that our guests were craving.<\/p>\n

It was M\u00fcn\u00fcre – owner of the hotel, and Selin, Or\u00e7un and Sertan\u2019s (Sonny) mother \u2013 who, after working as a pot washer in a restaurant in Europe, became recognised for her cooking talent and then worked her way up to the position of sous Chef in the space of six months.  M\u00fcn\u00fcre accumulated a great knowledge of cooking in the restaurant, which specialised in Game meat, and, when she returned to Turkey, she started to cook these European dishes at her Holiday Pension for the back-packers she hosted.  Over time, word about her small bed & breakfast and enviable cooking skills (both European and Turkish) spread like wild fire through the travelling community, and the hostel gained recognition in trusted travel books such as Rough Guide, and Lonely Planet.<\/p>\n

At the end of the 80\u2019s, Hisar\u00f6n\u00fc was still a tobacco-farming village with no telephone lines, no running water, and an unreliable electricity service.  Yet, always the entrepreneur, M\u00fcn\u00fcre spread her business to Hisar\u00f6n\u00fc in 1988 with a small bed & breakfast of 11 rooms, which became known as The Holiday Hotel, and she brought focus to her infamous restaurant.  Since then, M\u00fcn\u00fcre has taken pride in her style of cooking, which produces meals, that she defines as being simple to the eye but, with a complexity to the flavour that leaves a lasting impression on the taste buds.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"And so....to today!
